This is the 3rd segment of issue number 4 of our weekly video blog.
Both Torah and science analyze nature in terms of its hierarchies. The fundamental taxonomy in Torah divides between inanimate, growing, living, and speaking levels in nature. Science on the other hand uses organic/inorganic criteria to distinguish between natures myriad objects. As it turns out, both viewpoints are equally true and should be taught together as an example of the possible unification of Torah and science.
