It's no secret to the children who have already seen them, but the grandchildren will get confused by them, and they will lose some respect for their family. Their family's past lifestyle is no business of theirs. If it's too difficult to part ways with their pictures they can keep them hidden. They will eventually throw them out as they lose connection with their past.
