Lag BaOmer is the anniversary of the passing of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Rabbi Shimon was an incredible Torah sage who taught and revealed a lot of Torah. He was a star student of Rabbi Akiva, whose motto was "Love Your Neighbor as Yourself is very important rule of the Torah."

We celebrate Lag BaOmer by adding in our Torah learning, increasing our love and friendship and spending the day outdoors.
