Rabbi Gedalia Meyer
"A man's attire shall not be on a woman, nor may a man wear a woman's garment because whoever does these things is an abomination to HaShem, your G-d." A commandment that for millennia caused nary an eyebrow to be raised, in today's ever changing post-modern societies, would certainly cause quite a storm. The Torah is unwavering in insisting that the difference between men and women is nothing less than sacred. Once something as seemingly trivial as wearing the garments of the opposite sex becomes the norm all else that is considered holy and upright is endangered. Is this where we draw the line in order to preserve the Torah way of life?
