Cleansing my Subconsciousness

מי השילוח - וידבר ה' אל משה לאמר דבר וכו' ויקחו לי תרומה.

זש"ה (ישעיה מ"ה, י"ח) כה אמר ה' יוצר הארץ וכו', לא תהו בראה לשבת יצרה. להיות כי בפ' יתרו כאשר שמעו ישראל את עשרת הדברות היה נקל בעיניהם לקיימם מאחר שהמצוות הללו תלווים במעשה האדם, אך אח"כ כאשר נאמר להם פ' משפטים היינו שרצון הש"י הוא שיתפשט קדושתו ועבודתו בלבות ישראל, עד שיתפשט גם על קנינים השייכים להאדם שלא יוכלו לעשות דבר שלא כדת כמו שנתבאר בפ' משפטים [ד"ה ואלה], ועי"כ היה צעקה בלב ישראל איך אפשר להזדכך לב אדם כך.

ועי"ז נתן הש"י עצה להם בזו הסדרה ויקחו לי תרומה זהב וכסף ונחשת ואיתא בזוה"ק (שמות קמ"ח.) שהוא נגד היסודות הנמצאים באדם, והוא שימסור האדם כל יסודותיו וכחותיו להש"י שהוא ישלוט בהם כרצונו ית', וממילא יהיו כל קניניו טובים ולא יגיע מהם שום היזק. וכענין הזה נתפרש בזוה"ק (במדבר קכ"א:) הפסוק אשרי אדם לא יחשוב ה' לו עון ואין ברוחו רמיה, והוא כשאין הרוח חיים שלו נוטה לשום צד רק לרצון הש"י ואם יאמר האדם איך אפשר לזכך לבו כ"כ, ע"ז נאמר לא תהו בראה היינו שאין הש"י חפץ שלבו של אדם יפחד.

וזה ג"כ פי' (ישעיה מ"ה,י"ח) לא אמרתי לזרע יעקב תוהו בקשוני, וע"ז נאמר לשבת יצרה שיהיה לאדם ישוב הדעת, אני ה' דובר צדק מגיד מישרים, היינו אף שהש"י חפץ שיהיה האדם צדיק ונקי בכל הענינים ויקיים כל התרי"ג מצות, עכ"ז נקרא מגיד מישרים, היינו בישרות ובנדבות לב אל האדם ונותן עצות לאדם שיבא לכל הד"ת בנקל.

Cleansing the Sub consciousness




In the previous portion of Mishpatim, we learn that if someone's ox G-d forbid kills a person, the owner has to pay everything that has to do with my possessio

Now listen to what the Ishbitzer says (Mei Hashiloach 1, Truma, Vayedaber). When I walk into somebody's house and the dog jumps on me, do you know what the dog is telling me? “Let me tell you, don't go in here, they don't want you to come in, they don't love you. They might smile at you and tell you that they are so glad you came, but they don't mean it.” Animals don't pick up the consciousness of people, they pick up the unconsciousness of people. That means that if a person is unconsciously a murderer, his ox will go out and kill somebody. Imagine I'll walk in here and really hurt somebody G-d forbid. Even if I say that I didn’t mean to do it, consciously you didn't mean it, but obviously you are not in touch with your unconsciousness. If your unconsciousness would be completely clean, you couldn't possibly hurt anyone. Sometimes you hurt somebody's feelings and you say “I didn't mean it,” it's a poor excuse because if you would be completely cleansed inside, it simply wouldn't happen

So here the Ishbitzer comes and says that after we heard that a person must cleanse and be in touch with his subconsciousness, we began to cry. We couldn’t imagine reaching such a high level. So this parsha begins with “Veyikchu Li Truma.” Do you know what cleanses out your subconsciousness? Every time you give something with all your heart on a conscious level, it cleanses your unconsciousness. So the Ishbitzer says that the whole building of the Beis Hamikdash was not to cleanse our consciousness, you can do that through the Torah and mitzvahs. When it comes to the Holy Temple “Veshachanti Besocham,” inside, inside, inside

Sometimes you meet people and you and really see where there unconsciousness is. How do you know where people are at on an unconscious level? If in the presence you feel more pure - their consciousness is also more pure. One of the biggest Rebbes I have had the privilege of being in his presence is the Holy Amshinover Rebbe. When he talks to a person nobody exists but this person. The way he speaks to people is out of this world. I once brought a couple from America who had no children for fifteen years. When I told the Rebbe that they have been married for fifteen years and don't have children yet’, he got white like a sheep. The pain of this couple hurt him so much, he felt their pain in the deepest depths of his heart

But you see what it is, his consciousness is so much one with his unconsciousness, he is so in tune with his Beis Hamikdash in his heart
