Chevra Rav Moshe Chaim
What does this mean that it's a new month in the lunar calendar?
It's the start of a new cycle. A time of renewal.
This is one of the big points of emphasis in Judaism. Renewal. Constantly renewing our avodas (work) and tefillas (prayer).
When we do something new it's very exciting and fresh and fun. But what happens as time goes on is we fall in to habit and what once was new and fresh can quickly become old and stale and boring.
This is what Rosh Chodesh allows us to do. We have a chance to renew those thing which we loved doing and which we may have grown accustomed to.
All of the Chevra should merit to take this time to reflect on what we are doing and how we are spending our time and to renew and rejuvenate those things which are bringing us closer to the truest form of ourselves. Through renewing ourselves and seeing the beauty in our efforts with fresher and newer and deeper perspectives we will merit to bring Moshiach and the rebuilding of the Beis HaMikdash RIGHT NOW!!!
