The Torah never calls this holiday Rosh Hashanah and in fact there is more than one New Year in the Jewish calendar.
The holiday is mentioned less than any other and its main theme hinted in prayers is accepting the main principles of Jewish faith: belief on G-d, the fact that Hashem did not abandon the world but has Hashgacha Peratit and the belief in Divine Revelation.
