Shalom Aleichem - An epic animated journey through 3,000 years of Jewish history, following the eternal Shabbat light from ancient times to the modern world.

From the pyramids of Egypt to the mystical streets of Tzfat. From the Western Wall in Jerusalem to a lonely cabin in the Colorado mountains. From the tower houses of Yemen to the Mississippi River. From a ship crossing the ocean to a WWII battlefield. Wherever Jews have wandered, two candles have burned on Friday night.

The Shabbat candles have witnessed everything - slavery and freedom, exile and return, sorrow and joy. They burned in palace and hut, in shtetl and frontier cabin, on ships and trains, in war and peace. And they still burn tonight, wherever a Jewish home welcomes the Shabbat.

Two flames. One people. Eternal light.
